Almeida’s Vegetable Patch at 110 GAR Highway, Swansea, MA is offering “spooky tractor rides” through their fields adjacent to the store where you will find a huge assortment of all sized pumpkins, the usual and some very unusual gourds, and colorful mums in addition to there excellent assortment of local produce.
Another family attraction nearby is Simcock Farm at 361 Marval Street also in Swansea. Friday nights through Sundays during October there is all kinds of Halloween fun. Saturday and Sunday pick your own pumpkins, take hayrides and wander through their corn maze. On Friday night take a ride on the “Fright Night Haunted Hayride” or Saturday night enjoy the outdoor movie “I Scream” with some real “ice cream”!. The younger goblins might enjoy Sunday evenings hayride through the lit pumpkin forest , then they can make their own sundaes! All this and more throughout October. See the schedule here.
About 20 minutes down the road from Fall River is Escobar’s Highland Farm, 255 Middle Road in PortsmouthRI. An 8 acre corn maze awaits you along with hay rides, pumpkin patch, Harry Potter Day, and concessions.
