There were 37 single family homes sold in Swansea during this period with a median price of $205,300. For the same period in 2011, 34 single family homes sold with a median price of $220,750.
Sales volume is up 9% this year over the same period last year, while the median price down 7%.
There are currently 72 single family homes for sale in Swansea, with a median asking price of $259,900, as compared to a year ago when there were 102 homes on the market with a median asking price of $259,950.
As compared to 2011 the first four months of 2012 has been a positive period for buyers and motivated sellers. Current inventories’ lower asking prices and historically low interest rates continue to put those interested in purchasing a single family home in Swansea in a very good position.
